The Economic Times 40 under Forty: Deciding moment dawns today for the new vanguard of leadership in India
The Economic Times 40 under Forty returns for its 12th edition, continuing its legacy as the most coveted recognition for India’s next generation of leaders.

A star-studded, 11-member jury panel will assemble on Tuesday to evaluate and select the latest list of 40 honorees from a formidable pool of nominations.

The high-powered jury lineup includes some of the country’s most respected and high-profile leaders, led by Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, founder and executive chairperson, Biocon Ltd, as jury chair.


Joining her on the panel to bring in deep insights and experience across sectors are Harsh Goenka, chairman, RPG Enterprises; Ajit Isaac, founder, Triventure Holdings; Niraj Bajaj, chairman, Bajaj Auto; Saugata Gupta, managing director and chief executive, Marico; Sumant Sinha, founder, chairman and chief executive, ReNew; Manish Kejriwal, founder and managing partner, Kedaara Capital; Sanjeev Krishan, chairperson, PwC India; Parth Jindal, managing director, JSW Cement and JSW Paints; Zahabiya Khorakiwala, managing director, Wockhardt Hospitals; and Zia Mody, cofounder and managing partner, AZB & Partners.

The long list of 113 candidates was selected from an initial pool of over 650.
