TCS veteran Ravi Viswanathan joins top order of TVS Supply Chain Solutions

CHENNAI: Ravi Viswanathan, former Global Chief Marketing Officer of the country’s top software exporter TCS, has joined TVS Group firm TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) as Joint Managing Director, said a release.

Taking on the role of CEO and Joint Managing Director of TVS SCS, Viswanathan will report to R Dinesh, one of the TVS family scions managing the multifarious businesses of the $8.5 billion conglomerate based in a Chennai.

Viswanathan is a distinguished alumnus of National Institute of Technology-Trichy, also the alma mater of Tata Sons Chief N Chandrasekaran. Viswanathan has led multiple business units at TCS and has contributed to strengthening the brand of TCS amongst global clients.



In the release, Dinesh said Viswanathan ”brings the experience of creating a truly global Indian business...”

TVS SCS, originally begun as a part of TVS&Sons, was later established as a separate company- TVS Logistics, which was rechristened as TVS Supply Chain Solutions last year.
