Tata Steel gives money to set up nursing school

Tata Steel has handed over an amount of Rs five crore to Mercy Hospital here for setting up a nursing school in the hospital premises.

JAMSHEDPUR (JHARKHAND): Tata Steel has handed over an amount of Rs five crore to Mercy Hospital here for setting up a nursing school in the hospital premises.

H M Nerurkar, MD Tata Steel, has handed over the money to the hospital authorities, a company press release said here today.

While providing medical care to the society, the purpose of setting up the nursing school, was also to commemorate the hospital's Golden Jubilee year.
