Tata Steel appoints Nerukar as COO

NEW DELHI: Tata Steel has appointed H M Nerukar as its Chief Operating Officer (steel) with effect from September 1.

Nerukar joined Tata Steel in 1972 in the R&D division and has worked in various areas of steel making, the company said in a statement.

He is at present the Vice President of the company's Kalinganagar project.

Nerukar is also serving the boards of TM International Logistics Ltd, Tata Bluescope Ltd and Tata Ryerson Ltd as a Director, the statement added.
