Tata, Dr Reddy ink pact for youth employment

A youth employment programme aimed at helping the underprivileged sections of the society was today launched by Tata Group's community development branch in partnership with Dr Reddy's Labs.

HYDERABAD: A youth employment programme aimed at helping the underprivileged sections of the society was today launched by Tata Group's community development branch in partnership with Dr Reddy's Labs.
'Neev - The Foundation' - the initiative of Tata Companies and LABS (Livelihood Advancement Business School) would collaboratively work towards enhancing the employability skills and improve employment opportunities for the youth, an official release said.
A Memoramdum of Understanding was signed by K P Singh, Guardian, CEO and Managing Director, Tata Projects Limited and Anuradha Prasad, Managing Trustee, Dr Reddy's Foundation (DRF) to start this foundation here.
The programme sponsored by various department of Government of Andhra Pradesh, like Rural Development, Youth Services, Urban Services for Poor and Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad provides training to youth in and around city, the release said.
The programme would initiative training programmes in market-oriented programmes, the release added.
DRF on its part will undertake Market Feasibility Studies: conduct Focus Group Discussions based on the recommendations provided by the TCCI-HYD in the existing and new sectors for implementation of the training programme, it said.
