Tata CLiQ CEO Ashutosh Pandey quits, to join Mahindras

NEW DELHI: Tata CLiQ chief executive Ashutosh Pandey resigned from the Tata Group’s ecommerce marketplace and is joining the Mahindra Group as the head of its used-car and services unit.

In a news release, Tata CLiQ said chief operating officer Vikas Purohit would replace Pandey. Purohit, a former head of fashion at Amazon India, would assume the new responsibility in July.

The Mahindra Group said Pandey would be joining the group as the CEO of Mahindra First Choice Wheels.


Pandey was CFO at Tata Group’s retail arm, Trent, before he became the Tata CLiQ CEO in October 2014, shows his LinkedIn profile.
