Susheel Kumar joins Syngenta India as MD

Syngenta India has roped in Susheel Kumar as the new managing director of the company. He has replaced Rafael Del Rio who has now been appointed Non-Executive Chairman of the company, it said in a statement.
Kumar holds an MBA in Agribusiness Management from Symbiosis Institute of International Business, India and a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Operations and Related Sciences from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, India.

He brings with himself deep understanding of rural communities along with profound knowledge of the Indian market, insights to farmer behavior and close customer relationships. He recently completed an international assignment in Basel, Switzerland, where he worked on global strategic as well as projects for Commercial Excellence.
