Suresh Reddy is new president of TiE Hyderabad

Global entrepreneurial network The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE) has announced that Brightcom Group founder and CMD Suresh Reddy will take charge as the Hyderabad chapter president effective January 1, 2019.

Reddy takes charge from Kali Prasad Gadiraju, managing partner at global consultants Ernst & Young.

TiE provides access to about 3,000 successful entrepreneurs and professionals from across the globe. Around 150 charter members are Hyderabad based and volunteer for mentoring, education, providing customer and investor connect access through the global network.


In a statement, TiE said its Hyderabad chapter under the leadership of Kali Prasad had steered around 60 activities and programs for chartered members, associate members, and partners. His notable ‘TiE Cohorts’ program brought a radical shift in the cohesiveness of the group and bagged TiE Global’s most innovative new program award in 2018.

Welcoming Suresh Reddy as the new President of TiE, Kali Prasad said, “Hyderabad is a great place for startups to succeed, having access to experienced guidance from TiE mentors including a vibrant ecosystem of incubators, investors and increased global interest like never before.”

Suresh Reddy started his digital marketing and media services startup Brightcom Group (formerly known as Lycos Internet) in 1998, which became India’s Fortune 500 enterprises led by 10 acquisitions coupled with $100 million fundraising. His group operates from 24 countries with about 450 employees worldwide, the TiE statement said.
