Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murthy, mother-in-law of UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, has revealed a unique secret about her son-in-law. Murthy, wife of Infosys founder Narayan Murthy said Sunak fasts every Thursday, and even shared a little story behind it.

"Our son-in-law, who married our daughter, has been in England for 150 years from their ancestor's time, but they are very religious. After getting married, he asked why you start anything on Thursday. They said that we will go to Raghavendra Swami. He fasts every Thursday after just saying good day," Murthy said in a recent video.

Adding to this, Sudha Murthy also revealed, "Our son-in-law's (Sunak) mother fasts every Monday but our son-in-law fasts on Thursdays." The Prime Minister, UK's youngest in history, married Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murthy's daughter Akshata Murthy in 2009.
