Sterlite Industries honoured for sustainable development

Tuticorin-based Sterlite Industries has bagged a 'certification of commendation' from the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) for achieving sustainable development in social, economic and environment fronts.

MADURAI: Tuticorin-based Sterlite Industries has bagged a 'certification of commendation' from the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) for achieving sustainable development in social, economic and environment fronts.

The certificate was presented by Union Minister for Telecommunication and IT, A Raja to Prasad Surya Rao, Associate Vice President(Operations), Sterlite Industries (India) at the recently held 'Second Sustainability Summit Asia-2007' in Delhi, according to a company release here on Saturday.
