Six new faces in Indo-US CEO forum this year

The other new faces in the group include Chanda Kochhar MD & CEO of ICICI Bank and Preetha Reddy MD of Apollo Hospitals. These six executives join Tata Sons chairman Ratan Tata, Reliance Industries chairman & MD Mukesh Ambani, Biocon chairman & MD Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Analjit Singh of Max India who were also part of the ten-member Indian side of the forum last year.
These corporate chiefs will accompany Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the US in November to discuss further strengthening of bilateral relations. All the members of the forum have been nominated by the Prime Minister���s office. The Indo-US CEO���s forum consists of 10 CEOs each from both the countries.
The group of US CEOs is yet to be announced. The Indo-US CEO���s Forum was constituted by former US President George Bush and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in July 2005 for enhancing bilateral trade and investment. The forum was given a mandate to develop a roadmap for increased partnership and co-operation between the two countries at a business level.
