Selco offers support in flood-hit areas

The organisation is ready to extend the support on receipt of requests from the district authorities, Selco Solar CEO Mohan Bhaskar Hegde said in a press release.

Bengaluru-based nonprofit Selco has announced free solar lighting and mobile charging facility to the people affected by flash floods in Karnataka.

The organisation is ready to extend the support on receipt of requests from the district authorities, Selco Solar CEO Mohan Bhaskar Hegde said in a press release.

The nonprofit has made available 250 units of solar lights and mobile charging points for immediate service in the flood hit areas. The organisaiton said it is ready to meet higher needs. The 48 Selco branches in the state will serve two relief centres each, the release said.
