Scott Bayman to join Stonebridge Intl
Scott Bayman, outgoing president and CEO of GE India will move over to join Stonebridge International, a high-profile consultancy catering to top managements and multinationals as senior director.
The India team has consists of Senior Vice President Raymond E. Vickery, Vice President Diane McMahon, Senior Directors Pradman Kaul, Davinder Dogra, and C.K. Prahalad, Senior Advisers M.S. Verma and Lira Goswami, and is led by Stonebridge Vice Chairman H.P. Goldfield.
Mr Bayman, who is retiring after 14 years as head of GE India's operations, is credited with having transformed GE from a company with a $100 mn turnover and a few hundred employees into a business with $3 billion turnover and over 13,000 employees.
Scott Bayman has for long been a stalwart in the ranks of expatriate multinational CEOs in India, and sits on various corporate boards in India and overseas. He is also a member of the board of the US-India Business Council, the main trade and lobbying organization for Indo-US relationships.
Stonebridge International said that his unique expertise, insight and relationships will enhance Stonebridge's ability to successfully guide clients through political, regulatory and commercial challenges in India.
"His (Bayman's) joining Stonebridge will further leverage our capabilities in India on behalf of global companies. I saw him in action first hand while I was U.S. Ambassador to India," said Ambassador Richard Celeste, former U.S. Ambassador to India, also a Stonebridge International Senior Director.
