Schneider Electric appoints Deepak Sharma as MD, CEO

Schneider Electric India has appointed Deepak Sharma as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer and Zone President – Greater India, with effect from May. Sharma will take over from Anil Chaudhry.

Sharma has worked at Schneider Electric for 24 years in different roles based out of India, France, China, and the USA in energy management and industrial automation businesses, the company said on Thursday.

He was leading the integration of L&T Electrical and Automation business before this.
