Saurabh Agarwal of StanChart joins Aditya Birla Group

MUMBAI: Saurabh Agarwal, Managing Director, Regional Head of Corporate Finance, South Asia, Standard Chartered Bank will be joining Aditya Birla Group as their chief strategy officer. The group's HR head Santrupt Misra, director of group human resources at Aditya Birla and CEO of its carbon black business confirmed the news.

The Kumar Mangalam Birla group will also see other changes. Dev Bhattacharya, executive president for the conglomerate will look after the new ventures like Solar and E commerce at Aditya Birla Group. He is expected to take the fledgling ventures into the next level. Bhattacharya will also look into 'Biz Labs', the group's latest attempt to incubate startups.
