Sapient appoints Sandeep Dhar as MD

NEW DELHI: Business and technology consultancy firm Sapient on Friday appointed Sandeep Dhar as managing director of its India operations.

Dhar would oversee the company's growth in India and would report to Sapient Chief Executive Officer Aalan J Herrick, Sapient said in a statement here.

"With Sandeep on board, we are well positioned to further strengthen and expand our India-based capabilities," Herrick was quoted as saying.

Prior to joining Sapient, Dhar was working as president of business process outsourcing company Mphasis.
