Sanjay Rajoria appointed as new Managing Director of TRF Ltd

KOLKATA: Sanjay Rajoria has been appointed as the new Managing Director of TRF Ltd with effect from February 1, 2018. Mr Rajoria will be taking over from P S Reddy, who had been serving as the Managing Director of the company since April 1, 2016, an official statement said.

Mr Rajoria, presently working as General Manager, Raw Materials and Infrastructure Projects, Tata Steel, will also serve as an Additional Director of the company. Mr Rajoria joined Tata Steel as graduate trainee in 1988 after graduating in Mining, and has worked in several positions before he was elevated as Chief of Jamadoba Group of Collieries, Tata Steel in 2005.

In 2011, he was appointed General Manager (Operations) in West Bokaro Open Cast Mine of Tata Steel and in 2016 he was appointed General Manager (Operations) at Jharia Division of Tata Steel.


As the person in-charge of open cast and underground mines, he was responsible for operations, wash plant and other administrative and management functions which included corporate social responsibilities and human resource practices. In addition, K Sujit Mathai Mathew has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company from February 1, 2018.
