RIR Power Electronics Limited appoints N Ramesh Kumar as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

RIR Power Electronics Limited (Bombay Stock Exchange: BSE) has announced the appointment of N. Ramesh Kumar as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective 11 February 2026. Ramesh G. Trasi, who has led the company as CEO for more than 22 years, will assume the position of Chief Technology Officer and will continue to oversee the company’s technology strategy and innovation initiatives.

Ramesh Kumar brings more than 42 years of experience in leading growth across sales and marketing, business development, and full P&L management across diverse product categories and international markets. Over the course of his career, he has expanded market presence through targeted growth strategies, new product introductions, and sustained brand development efforts.

In his earlier role as Global Business Head – Industrial Products and Solutions at CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, he led large-scale operations, handled complex business portfolios, and maintained consistent profitability. As a member of CG Power’s Executive Committee—the apex decision-making body reporting to the Board—he contributed to shaping long-term business strategy while working closely with customers, channel partners, business associates, and workforce representatives.


Most recently, he served as CEO of Diffusion Engineers Limited, where he was responsible for overseeing both domestic and international manufacturing facilities along with regional sales operations.
