Rich List: India's wealthiest self-made entrepreneurs under 40

Indian-born businessman and founder of Media.net Divyank Turakhia topped the list with a wealth of Rs 12,500 crore, followed by co-founders of BrowserStack Nakul Aggarwal and Ritesh Arora with a wealth of Rs 12,400 crore each.

IIFL Wealth and Hurun India released the 'IIFL Wealth Hurun India 40 and Under Self-Made Rich List 2021' on Wednesday, ranking the self-made entrepreneurs of India with a wealth of over Rs 1,000 crore.

Indian-born businessman and founder of Media.net Divyank Turakhia topped the list with a wealth of Rs 12,500 crore, followed by co-founders of BrowserStack Nakul Aggarwal and Ritesh Arora with a wealth of Rs 12,400 crore each.

42 of the 45 entrepreneurs reside in India, with Bengaluru having the highest number of IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich Listers aged under 40. Software, services, transportation and logistics are the major contributors of wealth for entrepreneurs under the age of 40.


Zerodha's Nikhil Kamath placed fifth on the list with a fortune of Rs 11,100 crore, with the Kamath family now the 63rd richest in India, as per the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2021.

Wealth calculations are a snapshot of 15th September 2021 and follow on from the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2021 released on 30 September 2021.
