At a time when the home minister Amit Shah urged India Inc to push to make the country a $5 trillion economy at the ET Awards, N Venkatram, India CEO, Deloitte India echoed similar views.

“You are the women and men who, to coin a phrase, start up, start more and start again. He concluded by focusing on the role of technology. “On this trajectory to a $5 trillion economy, our businesses should recognise that the default response to reducing the cost of doing business is not to slash regulations alone. Seen through the prism of citizen experience, the crux of the issue is to lower the burden of compliance through digital interventions,” said Venkatram.
