REC gets Skoch trophy for ERP implementation

REC Ltd. has been awarded Silver trophy in the Skoch Digital Inclusion Award 2012 in the "Competitiveness" category for "Implementation of ERP Solution across the Organization".

'Skoch' is the highest independent ICT (Information and Communication Technology) honour in India. The award was received by Mr P.J Thakkar, Director (Technical) of the Organization in the presence of Ministry of Minority Affairs and Law & Justice Salman Khurshid in the presence of top dignitaries.

The award was given to the Corporation for establishing a state-of-the-art ICT infrastructure by Connecting all offices of REC through a MPLS-VPN backbone, Structured LAN at all offices, Building a ISO 27001 :2005 Certified Tier-3 Data Centre and implementing an integrated ERP solution covering all major business functions and all offices
