Ravimohan to head S&P's south and south-east Asia

Standard & Poor's on Thursday said that it has appointed R Ravimohan as Managing Director and Region Head, south and southeast Asia.

MUMBAI: Standard & Poor's on Thursday said that it has appointed R Ravimohan as Managing Director and Region Head, south and southeast Asia.

He will be based in Mumbai, a press release issued here stated.

Ravimohan joined Standard & Poor's in August 2007 after a successful stint at CRISIL, the country's leading ratings, research risk and policy and advisory company. CRISIl is also a subsidiary of Standard & Poor's.

"Mr Ravimohan brings his strong leadership skills and his first-hand experience in driving CRISIL'S success to his new role in consolidating Standard & Poor's efforts in the larger south and south-east Asia region," Standard & Poor's Head, Asia-Pacific and Executive Managing Director, Tom Schiller, said.
