Ratan Tata, Cyrus Mistry to address industrialists this Saturday

Ratan Tata and the chairman-designate Cyrus Mistry will address members of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here on March 3.

JAMSHEDPUR: Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata and the chairman-designate Cyrus Mistry will address members of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here on March 3, when both the top officials of the group will be in the city to take part in Tata Steel Founder's day.

SCCI president R K Agarwal today said Tata and Mistry has given their consent and will spend an hour with the members of the industrial body.

During their stay, Agarwal said they will interact with local industrialists and take part in question-answer session, which will mostly be oriented around the development of Jharkhand as well as Tata Motors ancillary units situated in and around the Adityapur Industrial Estate near here in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharswan district.

Majority of industries in the Adityapur Industrial Estate are Tata Motors ancillary units for decades.

Out of over 1100 units, Agarwal claimed 90 per cent are in operation.
