Rajratan Global Wire's Sunil Chordia appointed CII Western Region Chairman

Sunil Chordia, the chairman of Rajratan Global Wire has been elected as the chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Western Region for the year 2022-23.

Praveer Sinha, the managing director of Tata Power Company has been elected as the deputy chairman for the western region at the industry lobby for 2022-23.

Their names were announced at the first meeting of the reconstituted western region council, as per a press statement.


Chordia takes over from B Thiagarajan, the managing director of Blue Star.

CII's western region chapter's theme for 2022-23 is India@75 with major focus on competitiveness, skilling and sustainability.
