Rajkumar Dhoot takes over as President of Assocham

NEW DELHI: Managing Director of Videocon Industries, Rajkumar Dhoot, today took over as the President of the industry body Assocham.

Dhoot, 56, succeeds Dilip Modi, who is the Managing Director of Spice Mobility.

Dhoot, who is also a Member of Parliament, has served on the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance and consultative committees for the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Besides, Yes Bank MD and CEO Rana Kapoor has been appointed as the Senior Vice-President of the chamber, while SREI Infrastructure Finance Vice-Chairman Sunil Kanoria took over as the Vice-President.
