Rajiv Budhraja new DG of Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association
Leading association of the tyre industry Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA) has a new Director General with Rajiv Budhraja taking over the charge from D Ravindran.
Budhraja, who was the secretary general of ATMA for a long period, has taken over as the new DG, a release said, adding the former DG Ravindran has become advisor to the association.
Some of the leading members of ATMA such as JK Tyres, CEAT, MRF and Birla Tyres have embarked on a Rs 5,500 crore expansion plan in the next few years while country's tyre export estimated at Rs 2,700 crore in 2006-07 from Rs 2,383 crore in the previous year, the release said.
