During a proceeding before the Company Law Board, Shishir's counsel Rafeeq Dada alleged that Rahul tried to oust his younger sibling from the chairmanship of group holding company Bajaj Sevashram and management of Bajaj Hindusthan.
He said that once Shishir's cousin Shekhar also tried to remove him from the chairmanship of Bajaj Sevashram, which has shares in all major companies including Bajaj Auto.
"He even once mooted the proposal to remove Shishir from the chairmanship in a Board of Directors meeting in collusion with some people around. This was not even on the agenda of BoD," Dada said.
At least seven days prior notice has to be given for such a proposal as per the tradition of the Bajaj family, he said.
The Shishir's counsel also submitted that some times two versions of board minutes were recorded.
Dada today continued to read the correspondence between the two sides and chronology of events after 1994, when the dispute arose.
It was objected by Rahul's counsel and former Attorney General Ashok Desai. He said as CLB is yet to decide on the maintainability of Shishir's petition, no chronology should be put on record after 2003, when the suit was filed.
Shishir's counsel would continue his argument tomorrow.
