ProcMart appoints Aman Pruthi as VP of technology

He will be responsible for overseeing AI and ML projects and ensuring that they are executed efficiently and effectively.
"I am excited to be joining the firm at a time when the procurement and supply chain industries in India are experiencing a transformative change. With our focus on technology, we can expand into new areas such as packaging, biomass, and chemical procurement," said Pruthi.
Pruthi is an alumnus of IIT Mumbai and has held leadership positions in analytics and quantitative strategy at various companies throughout his career. He co-founded RedSky Technologies, which provides advanced warehouse-to-consumer solutions. He was in charge of establishing the database and related processes from the beginning, overseeing all analytics projects, and leading the analytics/machine learning team at the company.

We plan to expand to new cities, establish new business relationships, and develop strategies for growth. The decision to hire Aman aligns with our goal of accelerating growth initiatives and enhancing our brand reputation globally," said Anish Popli, founder and CEO, ProcMart.
In November last year, the firm raised $10 million in a series A funding round led by Sixth Sense Ventures. The company is present in 20 cities across all of India in addition to Malaysia, Vietnam, and Australia.
