Three key union ministers - Piyush Goyal, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Rajeev Chandrasekhar - will be part of the star cast of speakers at the Economic Times Global Business Summit (ET GBS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the two-day event.

Piyush Goyal, minister for commerce and industry, consumer affairs, food and public distribution, and textiles, is piloting India's crucial free trade agreements with countries such as the US, the UK, and Australia. Under his leadership, India achieved its highest-ever services and merchandise exports of $676 billion in FY22.

Then there's Ashwini Vaishnaw, the minister for railways, communications, and electronics and IT, who is leading the charge in improving the health of India's telecom industry, making the country a hub for electronics and semiconductor manufacturing, and creating a world-class railway infrastructure.

Another key policymaker, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the union minister of state for electronics and IT, skill development, and entrepreneurship, is playing a key role in law-making and implementation in some of India's most critical areas, including data protection, privacy, skilling, and the upcoming Digital India Act.

All these ministers will give the audience a peek into what the government is striving to achieve in key sectors of the economy.

Apart from these key policymakers, GBS will also have a sparkling roster of thought leaders, including global CEOs, disruptors, and entrepreneurs.
