PB Fintech appoints Santosh Agarwal as CEO of Paisabazaar, Vivek Audichya as CFO of Policybazaar

PB Fintech on Thursday announced that Naveen Kukreja, the CEO of Paisabazaar has decided to step away from the role after 11 years of helming the company. He will explore other opportunities within PB Fintech, said the company in the release.

Kukreja will be replaced by Santosh Agarwal and will report into Yashish Dahiya to drive the business starting from March 1.

Agarwal has been with the group since 2011 and has been a top performer in the company almost every year of the last decade.


"We have ambitions for Paisabazaar to not just grow its unsecured and secured lending footprint, but also expand into the world of pensions and savings. The Board, NRC and management considered various external and internal candidates and made this decision through a competitive process and we are super excited at having Santosh take on this opportunity," the release stated.

Additionally, Agarwal will will continue to mentor and guide on the Life Insurance side for the short term, as well as work with Sarbvir Singh in seeing how best Paisabazaar can leverage insurance opportunities.

Kukreja will be taking up the role of Group President at PB Fintech along with advising on the future strategy for Paisabazaar. He will also help guide the transition over the next few months and will continue to remain on the board of Paisabazaar as Non-Executive Director. Agarwal will also move onto the board of Paisabazaar as Executive Director

Meanwhile, Vivek Audichya's tenure as the Chief Financial Officer of Paisabazaar will also come to an end on February 28 following his resignation.

Neeraj Tripathi will take over from Audichya as Chief Financial Officer & Key Managerial Personnel of Paisabazaar from March 1.


Further, Ashutosh Mishra has resigned from the post of Chief Financial Officer of Policybazaar and will be effective March 31, 2025;

Audichya will now replace Mishra as Chief Financial Officer & Key Managerial Personnel of Policybazaar April 1.
