Pawan Malhotra is MD & CEO of Mahindra Gesco

MUMBAI: Leading corporate property developer, Mahindra Gesco Developers (MGDL), announced the appointment of Pawan Malhotra as its MD and CEO on Thursday. He will be based in Mumbai and report to Arun Nanda, vice-chairman of the company, a release said.

Mr Malhotra, an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, started his career with Dunlop and subsequently joined Hindustan Lever, where he held senior level positions across departments.

He has also worked in the Frito-Lay division of PepsiCo in India besides successfully managing key assignments at Dubai’s Al-Futtaim group before rounding off with a critical role with the Omani government.

Mr Nanda said: “I welcome Malhotra on board of Mahindra Gesco Developers... Both his domestic and international stints would hold in good stead for MGDL. I am certain he would put in all that takes to propel MGDL to greater heights”
