With just a few days remaining, seats are quickly filling up at The Economic Times Global Business Summit. Not surprising, given that Nobel laureate Paul Krugman will speak on ‘The Indian century — Opportunities and Challenges’ to kick off the conclave. To temper the exuberance, there’ll be Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s talk on 'Scripting Economic Change’ the next day.

Supporting them is a star-studded cast of prominent economists — Chief Economic Adviser to the government, Arvind Subramanian, MIT's Abhijit Banerjee and Columbia University's Professor Jagdish Bhagwati, as well as global and Indian CEOs.

And for a better perspective on globalisation, ministers like Oliver Letwin from UK, Mustapa Mohamed from Malaysia, Sunil Bahadur Thapa from Nepal, and Calle Schlettwein from Namibia will be joining the debate. Of course, the Mahamantris of Modi Sarkar will be there in full strength to share the various strands of this work-in-progress Mahagatha.
