Expressing Panasonic's commitment towards India, Tsuga said Panasonic wants to step up manufacturing in India.

NEW DELHI: Japanese MNC Panasonic Corp's President KazuhiroTsuga today met Prime Minister NarendraModi to explore opportunities to partner India in becoming a global manufacturing hub.

Expressing Panasonic's commitment towards India, Tsuga said Panasonic wants to step up manufacturing in India.

The Prime Minister has given a call to make India a global manufacturing hub under its "Make in India" campaign.

The company is also exploring the opportunity to partner government in the 100 smart cities project.

"Being in line to the motto of 'Make in India', Panasonic strengthened its relationship and roots in India with the establishment of its largest manufacturing Unit Technopark in Haryana in 2012," Tsuga said.
