NRL director takes over as Chairman of CII Assam

GUWAHATI: Numaligarh Refinery's finance director S K Barua has taken over as the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Assam State Council.

Barua assumed charge on April 1 on the occasion of CII's Annual Day. He succeeds IOCL ( Assam Oil Division) Executive Director Barun Barpujari, an NRL release said here today.

A cost and management accountant with a degree in law, Barua has three decades of experience in finance and business development disciplines in oil and gas industry and has worked for over 20 years in NRL.
