Now, meet the daughters who will inherit billions

Vanisha Mittal, Isha Ambani and Pia Singh, daughters of Lakshmi Mittal, Mukesh Ambani and K P Singh respectively, have grabbed the top three rankings on a Forbes list of billionaire heiresses.

MUMBAI: For a change, its the daughters who are having all the fun, and getting rich too. Three of them have, in fact, grabbed the top three slots in the Forbes list of 10 women likely to inherit the billions from their super-wealthy fathers. Right on top is Vanisha Mittal, daughter of LN Mittal. She is followed by Mukesh Ambanis daughter Isha, while KP Singhs daughter Pia is at the third spot.

While many daughters of the worlds wealthiest would never actually inherit a billion-dollar fortune, steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittals daughter Vanisha Mittal Bhatia has emerged as the potentially richest among those standing to inherit a fortune, according to US business magazine Forbes. Clearly, no gender bias here.

Next is Isha Ambani, the only daughter of richest resident Indian Mukesh Ambani. Isha, 16 years, is in the final year of her IB programme. Another Indian billionaire KP Singhs daughter Pia is at the third position all likely- to-be richest heiresses in the world.

Incidentally, LN Mittal was ranked as the fourth richest person in the world in March when Forbes published its annual rich list, followed by Mukesh Ambani at the fifth position. Interestingly, Americas two richest men Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have expressed their desire to leave the bulk of their fortune to charity.
