NIIT Tech hires former HP Enterprise, CSC executives to boost digital biz

BENGALURU: NIIT Technologies said it has hired executives from Hewlett Packard Enterprise and CSC, as the mid-tier IT company looks to boost its digital business.

NIIT Tech appointed Joel Lindsey as the Global Head of Digital Services. Lindsey was Vice President - Global Digital Transformation at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, his LinkedIn profile shows.

The New Delhi-headquartered IT firm also hired Adrian Morgan to head its insurance arm. Morgan was most recently UK head of Digital for Insurance, NIIT Tech said in a statement.

“These are exciting times as the industry is at the cusp of change driven by new technologies and changing customer expectations. With their rich experience and global understanding, Joel and Adrian will help us accelerate our transformation to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the Digital revolution,” Arvind Thakur, CEO of NIIT Technologies, said.

These are NIIT Tech’s highest-profile hires after the company chief operating officer Sudhir Chaturvedi moved to L&T Infotech. NIIT Tech had hired the former Infosys executive in 2013.
