The GCC will be established in partnership with Genpact.
“Nestle Business Solutions is the shared services team of the Nestlé Group, and the move marks an important step in strengthening the company’s global business services network and building future-ready capabilities,” the Nescafe coffee and KitKat chocolates maker said.
ET had reported that Nestle was planning to set up the GCC in its online edition on Monday.
“With Hyderabad’s strong ecosystem and Genpact’s expertise, we are well placed to deliver greater value, consistency and innovation,” Luca Fichera, head of NBS, said in a statement.
Nestle Business Services India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nestle Group.
GCCs, which handle functions such as technology, analytics, finance and research, are witnessing rapid growth in India, driving investment and job creation.
According to a Nasscom-Zinnov report, India had about 1,700 GCCs in FY24, generating $64.6 billion in exports and employing more than 1.9 million people. The report estimates the number could rise to 2,200 centres by 2030, generating as much as $105 billion in revenue.
Nestle India has invested about Rs 2,000 crore in capital expenditure over the past two years. The company reported a 22.6% year-on-year increase in revenue to Rs 6,748 crore for the January-March 2026 quarter, while domestic sales rose to Rs 23,071.5 crore in FY26, driven by double-digit volume growth and market share gains.
