Motorola's India Chairman Vandrevala resigns

Global mobile handset manufacturer Motorola on Monday said its India Chairman and Corporate Vice President Firdose Vandrevala has resigned from the company with effect from July 1, to pursue other interests.

NEW DELHI: Global mobile handset manufacturer Motorola on Monday said its India Chairman and Corporate Vice President Firdose Vandrevala has resigned from the company with effect from July 1, to pursue other interests.

Amit Sharma, Vice President-Strategy (Asia Pacific) and regional management (South East Asia) will assume additional responsibility for India in the interim period, Motorola Inc president, Asia Pacific, Simon Leung said in a statement.

He said Firdose is leaving to pursue other career interests.
