Modan Saha designated CEO, financial services, at Tata Digital

Modan Saha Chief Executive Officer of Tata Strategic Management Group (TSMG) has been designated CEO, Financial services at Tata Digital. He already holds a board post in the group's digital entity and would be responsible for building the Fintech business portfolio. In addition, he will guide the overall strategy and manage strategic investments at Tata Digital, a company release stated.

Modan Saha has been with TSMG for over four years, and in his role has worked on various strategic initiatives, including setting up of Tata Digital. Before joining TSMG, Modan spent more than 17 years in the financial services industry in various roles in payments, wealth management, online broking, risk management, strategy, fintech initiatives, and strategic investments. N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons, said: “Modan brings deep experience in financial services along with strong strategy capabilities. As a part of the core leadership team at Tata Digital, he will play a key role in building the fintech business and guiding various strategic initiatives. His passion for building new businesses will be very valuable for Tata Digital.”

Modan Saha supported group companies and chairman's Office in strategy and transformation initiatives. The board of Tata Digital is likely to be reconstituted with N Chandrasekaran as chairman once it commences operations officially and the proposed fundraising takes place. Tata Digital executives together with Suprakash Mukhopadhyay, Modan Saha and Aarthi Subramanian have been holding board posts since 2019.
