Mindshare Chennai adds some more power

Mindshare the global media and marketing services network, and a part of the GroupM operations, has announced appointment of Kavitha Srinivasan as Partner.

Mindshare the global media and marketing services network, and a part of the GroupM operations, has announced appointment of Kavitha Srinivasan as Partner – Client Leadership, to be based out of Chennai. In her current role she will be responsible for the businesses in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Mindshare handles the media responsibilities of Muruguppa group, Joe Alukkas, Ashok Leyland, Bharati Cement amongst others in these markets. Srinivasan comes with over 15 years of experience in the media-space, and this is her second innings at the Mindshare Chennai office. She moves in from General Manager at OMD Chennai where she was handling media-responsibilities for Renault, Henkel, Roca, and Sify, among other brands.

About her new role, Srinivasan shares, “The Southern market has a huge potential and thus needs to have a larger focus. Expanding the market would be one of my key responsibilities.” She would be reporting in to Chirantan Chandran, Principal Partner, Client Leadership, Mindshare South & East who is based in Bengaluru. Interestingly Mindshare follows the client centric cluster-system in terms of the business allocation, and has 14 clusters, in all, in India. So while Benagaluru comprises of two clusters, Cluster 1 - UB group & Cluster 2 – rest of Bengaluru, the rest of South market forms one cluster.
