Gulati, who has spent over two years in Micromax has been associated with telecom industry for more than a decade.

Arvind Gulati, head of customer services at Micromax Informatics has put in his papers, and has been replaced by Bharat Malik, existing head of customer service for the company's subsidiary Yu Televentures.

Micromax spokesperson confirmed Gulati’s exit, saying that he left the organisation to pursue other opportunities. Gulati, who has spent over two years in Micromax has been associated with telecom industry for more than a decade. He had moved to the country’s leading home-bred handset maker after spending three years at Nokia India.

“YU’s customer service head, Bharat Malik has stepped up to take over as the vice president, customer service for Micromax, who will lead service and support strategy to enhance after sales service experience for both companies,” the spokesperson added.

Malik has had previous stints with Nokia and was heading Micromax’s service operations before being made vice president of customer service at Yu Televentures, the smartphone-only selling subsidiary of Micromax.

Micromax and Yu have been adding senior level executives over the last few months, the latest among them is Sandeep Raina, who has been brought in as head of retail activation for the parent company in June, was a senior vice president at Cisco where he spent a decade heading distribution, enterprise sales and SMB segments.

in Yu, Deepak Dahiya and Chandra Kishor were brought in as head of sales for South and West regions and North and East regions, respectively, about three months ago. Both have been in the parent company for more than seven years.
