Men at the top in consumer companies: Survey
While women make up 85% of all consumer purchases, majority of consumer products cos have a predominantly male senior executive team, says the survey.

In India, consumer products companies should take note of this disconnect and focus on diversity while planning for future hiring for the leadership team and boards, says Bhavishya Sharma, MD of Athena Executive Search and Consulting. “As companies in India plan for future talent needs, diversity will certainly assume more importance going forward, especially in the consumer products and retail industries,” he says.
