Mantri Developers appoints Aditya Sikri as CEO

BANGALORE: Bangalore-based, Mantri Developers has appointed Aditya Sikri as the chief executive officer propcare mall management and commercial leasing.

The moves come after exit of Juggy Marwaha, an industry veteran, who joined property consultancy firm Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) India as managing director, south India operations.

Sikri with over 22 years of experience worked as executive director at Virtuous Retail, a Xander Group company and was responsible for launching retail project for the firm. He has vast experience in mall development and management, leasing and planning both in India and overseas.

"Sikri will be responsible for strategizing and positioning the company's retail business and also manage the commercial portfolio," says Mantri Developers in a statement.

Indian real estate sector have been seeing some top level exits with property sales slowing down. Earlier this year, DivyaSree Developers CEO Santosh Martin stepped down to start his own business, while Embassy Group CEO Gopi Krishnan quit, to start Fortius Infra, a real estate development company.

Additionally, Rajeev Bairathi moved out of DTZ India to join Knight Frank India as executive director - capital transaction group and will also look at north Indian market. Satish BN co head - occupational and development markets business, India at DTZ joined Knight Frank as executive director - South.
