Manasi Tata joins Toyota Kirloskar Motor board

Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Wednesday appointed Manasi Tata, daughter of company vice chairman Vikram Kirloskar, on its board of directors.

Tata is ED and CFO of Kirloskar Systems, and director in Kirloskar Technologies. She runs an NGO called Caring with Colour. She was also appointed as the first United Nations in India Young Business Champion for the Sustainable Development Goals.

Married to Neville Tata, son of Trent chairman Noel Tata, Manasi Tata’s appointment to the board of Toyota Kirloskar reflects a strong relationship and continuance of a close bond between Toyota Group and Kirloskar Systems, Kirloskar said in a statement.


The JV company, formed in 1997, manufactures and sells Toyota vehicles such as Fortuner and Innova.
