Mumbai: Mahindra Group on Friday named Manoj Bhat, group chief financial officer, as managing director and CEO of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd (MHRIL) effective May 17, 2024, as part of some key leadership appointments across businesses.

Amarjyoti Barua, executive vice president - group strategy, will succeed Bhat as group CFO effective May 17, the tractor-to-technology group said in a statement.

Vimal Agarwal, CFO of Mahindra Lifespaces Developers Ltd (MLDL), will move to MHRIL as its CFO effective May 1. He will be succeeded by Avinash Bapat who is currently CFO of Mahindra Susten.


The company said the leadership rejig is part of its talent development and retention strategy.

“Talent development is a key priority at the Mahindra Group… In addition to world-class development programmes, we have mapped career paths for each leader, which include experience across multiple roles,” said Anish Shah, group CEO and managing director of M&M. “As a result, we have increased internal job rotations across businesses.”
