L&T wins ₹5,000-10,000 crore Middle East order for 6 GWh battery storage
As per a company filing, the projects will have a combined storage capacity of 6 gigawatt-hours (GWh). L&T will also build infrastructure to connect the projects to the power grid, including substations and underground cables.

Each project will have a four-hour battery storage system. The batteries will store excess electricity when demand is low and supply it when demand is higher.
The systems will help improve power grid stability and support the use of renewable energy in the region.

The projects will use liquid cooling technology, which can help improve safety, increase storage capacity and extend the life of the batteries.
L&T did not name the Middle East client.
