Larsen and Tourbo's (L&T) aerospace wing was key for supplying crucial components for the launch vehicle of Chandrayaan 3. The Mumbai-based company provided India's space agency with critical booster segments, namely the head-end segment, middle segment and nozzle bucket flange, among other things, as per reports.

Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE) also engineered unique and indigenously built critical systems and sub-systems including the propellant plant, the vehicle assembly building and the mobile launch pedestal which were custom-built for the successful launch of space missions.

Metal manufacturing company, Mishra Dhatu Nigam which is based in Hyderabad supplied critical materials such as cobalt base alloys, nickel base alloys, titanium alloys and special steels for various components of the launch vehicle used in the very important lunar mission.

Bharat Heavy Electricals was responsible for supplying the batteries for Chandrayaan-3. As per reports, its Welding Research Institute (WRI) also supplied bi-metallic adaptors for Chandrayaan 3.
