Landmark Group appoints Rajeev Krishnan as MD of Max Hypermarkets

Krishnan will handle strategy and execution of the hypermarket and supermarket business of the Spar brand in India, and shall report to the Board of Max Hypermarket.

Landmark Group appoints Rajeev Krishnan as MD of Max Hypermarkets
NEW DELHI: Landmark Group has appointed Rajeev Krishnan as managing director of Max Hypermarkets India, the company said in a statement.

Krishnan has taken over the reigns from outgoing managing director, Viney Singh who will continue on the board of the company as a non-executive director.

In his new role, Krishnan will handle strategy and execution of the hypermarket and supermarket business of the Spar brand in India, and shall report to the Board of Max Hypermarket – franchisee of SPAR India, the company said.

Krishnan has over 29 years of global experience in retail and consumer having worked with companies like Target, Wal-Mart and Mckinsey & Company.

The Spar brand is operated by Max Hypermarkets in India and currently has 17 hypermarkets across the country.
