Lalu to share Railways' profit strategy

Now, diplomats would take lessons from Railway Minister Lalu Prasad on the Railways' phenomenal economic achievements.

NEW DELHI: After Business students, Houses, Industrial Institutions and Acamedicians, it is now the turn of diplomats who would take lessons from Railway Minister Lalu Prasad on the Railways' phenomenal economic achievements in a short span.

Come June 28, Prasad would be interacting with diplomats, both from India and foreign envoys posted in Delhi and brief them in detail on the steps taken by his Minsitry to acheive the turnaround of over Rs 20,000 crore since UPA government took over the reign of power here, Railway ministry sources said.

Besides serving diplomats, Indian Foreign Services (Probationers) and retired diplomats would also be attending the interactive session to understand the theory of Prasad that "a cow will fall sick if not milked".

Prasad had earlier addressed students of Business Schools in Ahmedabad and Bangalore. He has also interacted with professors and academicians from leading Business Schools from the US, Germany, France, Japan and Italy.

He has also a big list of invitation from leading Busines Schools, including Harvard, Texas, Wharton and Oxford to tell how he put Indian Railways from loss making to such a profit making organisation, that too without raising fares or downsizing the workforce.
