JP Morgan promotes India-born Viswas Raghavan as deputy CEO in Europe

With this Raghavan will become the second-in-command in the EMEA region. He will succeed Emilio Saracho who will now become a vice chairman of the bank.

JP Morgan promotes India-born Viswas Raghavan as deputy CEO in Europe
MUMBAI: JP Morgan Chase has named India-born Viswas Raghavan as the deputy chief executive officer for Europe, Middle East and America region. This will be an additional role for him as he is already serving as head of banking.

With this Raghavan will become the second-in-command in the EMEA region. He will succeed Emilio Saracho who will now become a vice chairman of the bank.

Raghavan will report to Daniel Pinto, chief executive officer of corporate & investment bank, JPMorgan.

He was graduated from the University of Bombay, with a BSc in physics. He holds a postgraduate degree in electronic engineering & computer science from Aston

University, Birmingham, UK. He is also a qualified chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. Raghavan had joined JP Morgan in 2000.
